Each stem with 3 or 4 lvs. these clasping & surround the stem, this area white. Leaf: petiole dull reddish-olive to nearly rhubarb pink, slightly glossy, some (also flower scape) having pale brown, arachnoid webbing; blade above medium to dark green, glossy, below paler, duller; leaf leathery. Infl.: scape pink at base to olive or pale green at apex, the bracts pale green with brown indumentum; Ray fls.: tube white, silky; stamens yellow; petals bright yellow; disc flowers: ovary pale green; pappus white; corolla bright yellow, crystal (POSSIBLY MORE ON SPECIMENT SHEET). |
